I first grabbed the handlebars while finishing college, back when tuk tuk tours were just starting to take off in Lisbon. As part of the city’s first generation of tuk tuk guides, what started as a student job quickly turned into a passion — and eventually, a family business!

Together with Adriana, I’ve helped build the amazing team we have today. And although there’s a lot more happening behind the scenes these days, I still love getting behind the handlebars, sharing Lisbon’s stories, and showing visitors what makes this city so special.

Together with my husband, Rafael, I have the privilege of running I Took a Tuk Tuk and leading our amazing team of guides.

As an engineer, I’ve always had an eye for detail (sometimes a little too much! 😅), and I bring that same mindset into everything we do. For me, creating a great experience goes far beyond showing Lisbon’s famous sights. It’s about the little details, the personal touches, and making every guest feel genuinely welcome from the very first message.

While Rafael has his roots in guiding and loves being out there sharing Lisbon’s stories, you’ll usually find me behind the computer, keeping everything running smoothly and making sure every experience is as special as it should be.

Different roles, one shared passion — making sure you fall in love with Lisbon as much as we have!

The people make the difference.

Different personalities. Different stories. One shared passion for Lisbon.

I view the world as a vast open-air museum, where every street tells a story and every building hides a secret waiting to be revealed.

I have turned my passion for travel into my daily life. To me, leading a tour isn’t just about pointing out monuments or reciting historical dates; it is about interpreting the soul of a place.

I love traveling because each new culture challenges me to see space and life from a different perspective. Yet, what truly drives me is human connection. I am fascinated by spontaneous conversations, the sharing of viewpoints, and the opportunity to connect people from all walks of life with the places we visit. My main goal is to create a welcoming atmosphere where travelers feel inspired and truly part of the experience.

In short, I design itineraries with the precision of an architectural project and infuse them with the warmth of human interaction, turning every trip into an unforgettable, shared experience.
